Sitting Room

This separate room is idea as a ‘quiet’ room, particularly for guests with children. The focal point of the room is the original period fireplace and there are windows which look onto the front and side gardens. For guests wanting an extra bedroom so as to accommodate up to 10 people in the house, a deluxe Gainsborough pocket guest bed (from February 2005) with 1 - 6' 3'' x 3'  mattress and 1 -  6' 0'' x 3' mattress, which pulls out from underneath and is raised up on folding legs, can be found behind the sofa, and the bedding for these is stored in the large blanket box.

There is also a bookcase full of holiday reading for rainy days and walking and touring guides for sunny ones. There is a Panasonic Nicam TV which can receive the same satellite and video signals as the TV in the living room.
