Built about 100 years ago, originally home to the manager of the nearby gunpowder works, Meadow Bank is set back from the narrow road which runs through the unspoilt village of Elterwater, behind an old stone wall. The front of the house offers fine view of the fells, while the rear looks across open fields to the Langdale Beck. Comfortably furnished throughout, Meadow Bank has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. WiFi is included for the main house.

This white washed, rendered stone building in the grounds of Meadow Bank is accessed by stone steps. The cottage is furnished and equipped to create a cosy, open-plan cottage for two.
