1. Deposit and Balance
A non-returnable deposit of 20% of the total sum is payable on booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before the commencement of your holiday,
If you find it necessary to cancel your holiday please inform us immediately in writing. We will then endeavour to relet the house in which case a refund of any balance paid will be made. We reserve the right to resell any holiday where the balance is not paid prior to the stipulated date.
3. Arrival and Departure
Arrival should not be before 4.00 pm on the first day and the house should be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. Short break weekend and midweek arrival times by arrangement. Keys are sent out by us to your home 7-10 days before your arrival together with comprehensive notes about your accommodation and the area.
4. Items supplied
All necessary kitchen equipment and bedding (duvets) are supplied. We do not supply personal towels, tea towels or dishcloths. A cot and mattress is available, but we do not supply cot bedding.
The client undertakes to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fitting and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday, and also undertakes to leave the premises in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found, and to pay the cost of any replacements or repairs which may occur.
The number of persons using the Garden Cottage and Meadow Bank is not to exceed 2 and 10 respectively plus a child using a cot in Meadow Bank house. Please note the Garden Cottage is not suitable for infants in a cot. It is understood that houses are rented for short term holiday purposes only with visitors arriving and departing in sequence of confirmed bookings.
No liability is accepted for any injury or loss of personal property suffered by the client or any member of his party.
